Rider Behavior Contract

All riders must sign a behavior contract found on the Registration page.  Safety is is our number one concern and riders must agree to ride safely and within their own limits so as not to put themselves or others at risk. Rider must adhere to any instructions by coaches.

Bicycle and safety pre-check

A high-end mountain bike is not required, but riders must have a properly fitting and tuned bicycle. Before our first session riders should have their bike checked out by a mechanic to confirm that it is safe and ready to ride.  See our The Right Bike page for info on determining if the bicycle you have will be appropriate.

Pick-up and Drop-off times and location

Elementary aged riders will be picked up at 3:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and dropped up at 7:00 PM.

Middle school riders will be picked up at 3:30 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays and dropped off at 7:00 PM.

We ask that parents be flexible and patient with the drop-off time. We try our best to notify parents if vans are returning late due to the traffic.

Ride locations

Young riders should experience a variety of different trails to develop a love for mountain biking and an appreciation for the areas around Moab.  Our BLM permit allows us to ride from a number of different trailheads including Slickrock, Bar M, Klonzo, Navajo Rocks, Horsetheif, and Amasaback to name a few.  Weekly updates will be sent out with ride locations for that week.
